I read a article written by Japanese WWII aircraft mechanic, where he said that they couldn't depend on mass-produced parts to fit correctly. We take parts that don't quite fit, then adjust and adapt them, adding and removing as needed. That's why I think of us a being a bit artistic.

The paper evidently slips in the printer, so parts come out off by small amounts. It's also a problem with printing on a home laser via 8.5 X 11 (or 14) paper.

All it took was a tiny slip in the feed, and parts would come out mismatching. Charlie, that used to give me fits when I printed on the dot matrix.
